I took some time out last weekend and spent the weekend with the mother and sister at our house on the coast.

The weather was sublime. I am a summer baby, I dread the cold winds and rain of winter so I was making the most of the last days of sunshine!

These are a pair of earrings I made 3 years ago. They hardly make it out of my wardrobe. Actually I have a HUGE collection of costume jewellery pieces that never see the light of day. I get into a groove where I wear Dinosaur Designs during the week to work and pile on my babyanything over the weekends. I need to make more of an effort to 'dress up' in my down time.

The Mother looked effortlessly stunning in a little leather mini, if I look half as good as she does when I reach her age I will be lucky!

It was a wonderful mothers day for us on Sunday. I spoiled mum with bangles from Dinosaur Designs, because she spoils us everyday!

Highlight of the night x

So the best friend and I made our DJing debut the other night at the 'Odds and Evens' night at Ching-a-Lings on Oxford St.

 We called ourselves 'The Highlights' considering we are both blonde, although we ended up being twins in black leather as well!

 It was SUPER FUN and full of hilarious moments. I may have made a few DJ faux pas, for example pressing play on the next track halfway through the current one, thinking that  because I was wearing headphones I was the only one that could hear it! And dancing so much to the song on that we almost forgot to cue the next tracks up!

We loved playing all of our favourites- Fleetwood, Bowie, Talking Heads, Blondie, Dinana Ross, Genesis etc etc

I chilled out in the last slithers of sunshine the other arvo. I HATE winter. 

Bring back the sweltering temps and the frangipani strewn streets.
